Cured

Managed Sin          GSKohler

March 20

When we approach God throughhumility and come to agreement with God about the truth of life and ourselvesthrough confession, the opportunity to hear God opens up widely in oursouls.  Our communication becomes intuitive, touching what is innate within us.  Realneed, the need God sees within us can come into view.

We can recognize the separationbetween us and God, us and others, us and our truest hope for what we might beand do in the world. Our journey of preparation for the truth of theResurrection, moves through a dark valley of death, what we call sin.  It is here that believers, and those whodesire belief, find the Resurrection to be a light that leads them through thedarkness within ourselves.  This isbecause the light is a cure for the separation of death.

It destroys the effects of death inthe soul of any one.  It is a cure thatcould take charge of a soul and bring it back to health by killing any deathwithin it.

After humility and confession, wetake the step of welcoming God into every part of our lives so he can cure itall.  As it is cured, we begin to see thewonder, the value of others, to the point of loving them because God hasreconnected us with them as part of our community.  We want to communicate, truly and deeply.

Prayer: Living Lord, heal my soul with the ointmentof your grace.  I want to invite you intoevery part of me and allow you to see it all and to heal it all.  I want you to live fully within me so that Imay live fully with you.  Saying what Ihear you saying.  Doing what I see youdoing.  Open my mind so that I maydiscover what you are about each day.  Iwant your kingdom to be here on earth as it is in heaven and so I want yourkingdom, first, within me.  Amen.
